How to Tie The Ruffled Cravat Using Long Silk Scarves
This scarf tying method is inspired by formal menswear of bygone eras. This particular style will work well to dress up a more casual ensemble, or add a bit of flair and interest to formal attire.
Begin by wrapping the scarf around your neck, and securing it with a loose knot near your throat.

Pleat the upper layer from the bottom, up to the neck, and hold the middle part.

Wrap the under layer tightly around the middle portion, where your fingers should be pinching the fabric together.

Wrap the under-section of your silk scarf around the top section a second time, but do not tighten it. Instead, adjust the length so that it hangs at about hip-level. Then release both pieces.

Finally, adjust the layers to your preference.
